October 2014 - Next to Here - Contemporary Image Collective

Al Shazly will be showing her project Inside Outside as part of the Next to Here exhibition.
Next to Here visualises stories of urbanism, natural landscapes and people. The works document social and physical spaces betraying the diversity of sensitivities which the photographers approach in their environment. The one thing the artists have in common is their curiosity to capture the realities of the world around them and the people inhabiting it.

Next to Here will open on Sunday 28 September at 7pm in CIC

March 2014 - Layer of Green - Contemporary Image Collective

Curated by Rana El-Nemr and  Jens Liebchen. 

Al Shazly will be showing her project Inside Outside as part of Layer of Green exhibition.
The exhibition is the result of a workshop organised by the Goethe Institute and the CIC Photo School last November that focused on the social, cultural, political and economic context of “the layer of green” or the environment.

The exhibition will be open from Saturday through to Wednesday, from 12pm to 9pm.
